Still in Oslo

Today was a relaxing day. After quite hectic past days it was evident this morning that I needed a break to fill the energy tank. I stayed in bed until 12, was most of the time reading Laxness Islandsklukkan. It is such a fantastic novel and really makes up for the lonelyness I felt today. At around 2 o'clock Tine came and we shared a lunch together and then took a rather long walk around a nearby lake. The surroundings were beautiful and the weather nice. After our walk Tine returned to her friends place to enjoy a dinner with her friends parents.

I on the other hand took the next metro to the center and had another walk. Gazed at the architecture and the statues all around the city center. When I felt the hunger I had been waiting for stumbled I on a pizza place called Peppes Pizza. It is like a combination of Domino's and Pizza Hut. Thin pan pizzas. I had a ParmAmerican Pizza with mozarella cheese, ruccola and a parma ham. Quite lovely meal though blurred with the fact that I found out my phone credit was finished.

I came home around 20:30 and I have been watching South Park, Star Trek and talking to friends and relatives via msn messenger.

Quite rewarding day.

Tomorrow I will head back to Amsterdam. It will be nice to go back home though Amsterdam is not on the same standard as Oslo regarding almost everything.

I look forward to blog in icelandic again.
